Good Afternoon I’m sorry to inform everyone but I lost my lil brother Tymir Spruel to a senseless act of gun violence..
A candlelight vigil will be held on the 2800 block of Clementine tonight at 7:30. So if you know him and want to pay your respects please come out..if attending please bring a black and white balloon

Pushing through this morning if you heard on the news this pass weekend, the shooting of a 17year, Tymir Spruel #nephew. His life was cut short, just graduate, new car, starting a new job, heading off to college for basketball.
Please keep our family especially his parents in your prayers.

I only met the young man once, but what most impressed me was his great athletic ability and how involved his father was in his life, asking questions and trying to guide his son in the right direction….Another young man gone before his time. 😪 😡These streets got no remorse… RIP Tymir Spruel.

Very sad. He finished strong this year at Fels. Coach Heimerdinger always spoke to how he was such a nice person off the court. He was headed to college in August.

Tymir planned on starting college at Harcum in fall 2018, where he planned to study sports management and play basketball. Here are some of his basketball stats.

    Tymir, a rising star has crossed over due to the thoughts, feelings and actions of someone else. We are God’s chosen people – our youth have to learn how priceless and blessed life is, especially for us. We have such mountains to push against in all of the world, so many who are not on our side. When will we be on our own side? Internal conflict was first created from outsiders with us, why are we carrying on the work of degrading, and carelessly taking our own lives? I am at Roxborough High School to bring up young people who are “waking up and woke!” They need to be equipped for this world, in the meantime they are erasing one another out of this world. Learn this my people – we need one another to survive and to get back where we are supposed to be as a chosen people, blessed and highly favored. We are smart, intelligent, creative, resourceful, we have what it takes to gain in so many ways – let us stop creating losses for ourselves. It hurts our hearts to see you do this and the trauma families go through as a result of this is a massive blow that damages both family and friends for years to come.

    My son Tymir.G.Spruel will be missed dearly by family and friends because of the person he was to others,he worked very hard at becoming the best he could be at basketball,working out everyday at what he loved to do,he trained in philly and in Camden N.J. He had a number of coaches that really worked with him.Coach himendinger his Coach at fels high school in Philadelphia and his his Coach and trainer Chris Small out of Camden N.J. and other Coach such Coach Vic,Coach Lamar,also out of Jersey along with others I can’t remember their names right now. and also Coaches such as Jon Owens out of Philadelphia.what I’m really saying is that Tymir really never had the time to run the streets he was always at school or working out either at the Croc Center or some other place.last summer he was always in Jersey playing basketball so to loss him this way really hurt us even more harder.just because he went with his friend to drop his friend sister of at her girlfriends house was hard to believe and is still hard to digest for any family .the 16year old is still out that did this is still out there.and if you are out there and know this person and won’t say anything you are just as bad as he is and who are you going to kill next your days are numbered just like his so think about it and turn him in before you are on death row.
