Just like any kid, Ramon Anthony Smith always loved playing with the other children in his neighborhood.
“He was just like a regular neighborhood kid,” said a former neighbor who knew Ramon for years.
As he grew up, he was known to be well-spoken and kind, the kind of kid who would not dare to get into trouble. Those positive traits were ones he would maintain for the rest of his life. Ramon was killed on March 5, 2017 at the age of 46.
“He came up very nice and was very well-mannered,” she said.
In his adult life, he worked for CareerLink.
“He came to work everyday and came home.”
While the days of Ramon playing with the kids around the neighborhood may be distant memories, he will always be remembered as a kind young man.
“[He was] never a problem, very nice and very well-liked,” his neighbor said.
