Dante Johnson Merritt, 27, went on to be with the Lord on May 18, 2018. Dante was devoted Christian and a member of Refuge Church of Christ. He worked at the Paul’s Run Retirement Community. Dante leaves to mourn his mother Desiree Davis, his father Duane Laidlow, his son Makai Johnson, his brothers Antonio Johnson, Norman Brown, Zion McLean, Jamal Davis, Jr., his sisters Natasha Brown, Nakana Brown, and Jada Davis, and host of family members.
